Peter Youngtree and Carole Bestvater (“Carole Bee”) have been playing music together since 2015. Developing a close musical and creative partnership through their band Youngtree & The Blooms, the two launched their spin-off duo in 2020. Their music is guided by the rule of only playing music they love. This results in an eclectic mixture of Scandinavian, Irish, Newfoundland, and American folk music, original instrumental compositions inspired by bluegrass and classical music, original lyrical compositions inspired by country, soul, and folk, plus occasional forays into surf rock and western swing.
