Le Winston Band is a zydeco group from Montreal that fuses the rich musical traditions of Louisiana with its own French-Canadian roots. The result is music that is exhilarating and performances that are high energy and leave people dancing along. The Band recorded Zig Zag Zydeco Zoo in 2019, and received nominations from ADISQ and GAMIQ (organizations that support the independent music industry in Quebec) for the best album of the year in the world music category. Since 2012, Le Winston Band has travelled throughout Canada and Europe spreading their joie de vivre and we are delighted that their travels will take them to Lunenburg this August.
