Caribou Run is a six-piece band from the South Shore of Nova Scotia, featuring Danielle Noble (vocals and keyboards), Drew Moores (vocals and guitar), Corey Thorpe (vocals and guitar), Jonathan Barkhouse (drums), Peter Visser (bass), and Mike Brunelle (vocals and trombone). With their debut recording, not only did something organic happen but also something affirming: the album, called Something Organic Will Happen, was named Blues Recording of the Year at the Nova Scotia Music Awards in 2017. In 2018, they released their follow-up album, Old Peninsula, which was recorded in nearby Riverport, NS. The group’s songs fill rooms, become anthems, and break and mend hearts. This hometown band played at the 2017 Festival and also at this year’s Folk Fiesta!
