A charismatic charmer and a smasher of pianos. A madman and an earnest poet. Ben Caplan released his first studio album in 2011 and has spent the last ten years recording and performing to ever-growing audiences in music clubs and theatres around the world. For the ten year anniversary of his first release, Ben released a solo acoustic album of re-interpretations of his songs (Recollection, 2021). He is currently actively touring across Europe and Canada presenting both concerts and performances of his critically acclaimed theatre show, Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story, which he co-created with Christian Barry and Governor General’s Award winner Hannah Moscovitch.
