These in-person concerts will take place at 7:30 pm at the Lunenburg Opera House. Each concerts will also be video recorded for online presentations at later dates (details below). All 3 events were rescheduled from May to later dates.

Theresa Malenfant and Scott Medford graced the stage at the Lunenburg Opera House in May 2019 — the first concert Folk Harbour presented after acquiring that venue. Two years later, we will celebrate that momentous occasion with Theresa’s powerhouse blues vocals and Scott’s virtuosic guitar playing. This duo from New Brunswick needs little introduction to our audience!

Hauler is a trio that seamlessly blends roots, rock, and traditional Cape Breton Celtic music into a sound like no other. Nominated for a 2021 ECMA in the Rising Star Recording of the Year category, the group is made up of familiar faces — Steve MacDougall and Mike LeLievre of Slowcoaster, and fiddler Colin Grant, who has appeared on Folk Harbour stages in various incarnations.

Rachel Beck is a singer-songwriter from PEI who is known for her rich and evocative vocals and her strong songwriting. She will appear as part of our May Concert Series just after winning Album of the Year for Stronger Than You Know at Music PEI’s awards show in March.

We work hard to bring you music all year long. Our concert series features a range of established and up-and-coming artists, both local and out-of-province. We strive to present four concerts in the fall and four in the spring. Our venues change throughout the town but the calibre of performers on stage is consistently top notch. You can expect smaller venues with unique and intimate performances with the artists as well as larger venues offering a bigger musical experience.
