Adams & Knickle
Adams and Knickle has been fishing out of Lunenburg since 1897. The company currently fishes for deep-sea scallops, and its trademark red buildings are a quintessential part of the Lunenburg harbour landscape.
An architectural landmark named for Admiral Edward Boscawen, you can’t miss this lovely Queen Ann style mansion on the hillside. Overlooking Lunenburg Harbour and the Old Town below, with the sea beyond and the leafy shade of Parade Square Park in our back yard, this is a special place to stay. Just 3 short blocks up from the docks and the crowds, you’ll get the best of both worlds.
The Boscawen Inn is one of the venues used by the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society for house party-style concerts in the off-season.
“Caico-Mae Clothiers”… A unique boutique offering a memorable shopping experience! You will find fun fashions always on our Clothes LIne!
Founded in 1982, FACTOR – The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings – is one of the most significant sources of financial assistance offered to help sustain and grow the independent Canadian music industry. We acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada through the Department of Canadian Heritage (Canada Music Fund) and of Canada’s Private Radio Broadcasters.
Ironworks is a micro-distillery located in the old port of Lunenburg on Nova Scotia’s historic South Shore. We take our name from the 1893 heritage building we call home: a marine blacksmith’s shop that once produced ironworks for the shipbuilding trade. We craft our spirits with the same love of traditional methods and attention to detail. To see what we’re up to, have a look around our site. Or even better, drop by our distillery shop and enjoy a taste. They are a proud sponsor of the summer concert series held on the Heritage Society Bandstand every Sunday at 2 pm. The summer bandstand concerts are provided by the Society on behalf of the Town of Lunenburg and the Lunenburg Board of Trade with the help of a few of our local businesses.
From web design and research development, to copywriting and strategic planning, we build and better your brand so you feel good about its direction. We give young companies the support and resources they need, and help established clients plan strategies to withstand time and challenges. Simply put, we want to elevate brands to their highest potential—and become the most trusted and coveted agency in Atlantic Canada. We also want to win the Guinness World Record for “The Most High Kicks by a Single Chorus Line.” But one thing at a time.
Good company, great food and fine beer awaits you at the Knot Pub — 4 Dufferin Street — where locals go for traditional pub fare and fun. At the Knot Pub you might find live music, trivia night or your long lost friend!
Leanne’s family created the Leanne Children’s Foundation to honour the memory of a cherished daughter and sister, dear friend, and creative fun-loving child. The goal of the foundation is to assist children to reach their full potential, to encourage them to reach for their dreams, and in striving to achieve these goals, to take nothing for granted.
