CKBW radio is a main broadcaster,providing music and information for Nova Scotia’s entire South Shore. They broadcast over 98.1 FM in Bridgewater, 94.5 FM in Liverpool and 93.1 FM in Shelburne and have provided advertising support for the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival.

Ironworks is a micro-distillery located in the old port of Lunenburg on Nova Scotia’s historic South Shore. We take our name from the 1893 heritage building we call home: a marine blacksmith’s shop that once produced ironworks for the shipbuilding trade. We craft our spirits with the same love of traditional methods and attention to detail. To see what we’re up to, have a look around our site. Bill and Margaret Towndrow have been keeping the historic town of Lunenburg (a UNESCO world heritage site) and the surrounding area supplied with everyday hardware and paint since 1989. Lunenburg Hardware is all about supplying the everyday needs and advice for customers in Lunenburg and area to be able to carry out their home repair and renovation projects. We also maintain a complete marine section comprising paints, hardware, repair products and charts.
