Canadian Heritage is responsible for national policies and programs that promote Canadian content, foster cultural participation, active citizenship and participation in Canada’s civic life, and strengthen connections among Canadians.
We salute the Government of Canada for recognizing the importance of preserving, developing, and sharing traditional and contemporary folk music in our country and thank them for presenting performances in the Canadian Heritage Tent.

Our Province is a leader in cultural promotion this year providing us with funds to aid in the year-round operation of our office and the work of the Society.
