The Good Lovelies

Bringing their folk roots and western swing sound to Lunenburg for the first time, The Good Lovelies are Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Sue Passmore. The trio blends vocal harmonies with acoustic instruments and a great sense of fun. Their five-song EP Oh My! appeared in 2007, followed by a full-length self-titled CD in 2009. That same year the group created a Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe and were named the Canadian Folk Music New Emerging Artist. Spring of 2010 jumped into high gear for the Ontario ensemble with a Vinyl Café tour and a trip to the Junos where they won in the Roots Album of the Year category. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to harmony heaven.
