Curious by nature, James Keelaghan has been exploring historical events through song for close to a quarter of a century. The Winnipeg-based singer-songwriter now has a degree in history, eleven albums, numerous nominations and awards-including a Juno-not to mention scores of fans across the globe and especially here at Folk Harbour. His fine craftsmanship and artistic vision have earned James great respect in songwriting circles. Complete ease on stage, a gentle-but-deep voice, and melodic, driving rhythms on guitar complete the fearsome package. His beautiful narratives are guaranteed to transport you to another place and time. It would not be a 25th anniversary celebration without James in the house (or tent as it may be!)
