The winner of the 5th annual Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival songwriting competition is Susan Foulkes with her composition "Days Like This."
First runner up is Ann Fearon for "Roadside Flowers.
Second runner up is Jon Allen for "As Lovers Do."

The 5th annual Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival Songwriters' Competition
This year marks the 5th annual Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival Songwriters' Competition. The contest is designed to provide a forum for amateur songwriters to showcase their songs as well as an opportunity to bring new music to the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival audiences. Tim Feswick of Feswick Productions is offering 8 hours of studio time to produce, record and mix the winner of the 5th Annual Lunenburg Folk Harbour songwriting contest.
The winner will also receive a one year membership with the Song Writers Association of Canada. The winner and two runners-up will play their songs on the Main Stage as a "tweener" between acts during next year's Festival. It is our hope that the competition will continue to grow through the years as well as bring more great music to the Festival.
